We have recently made the exciting discovery, from two different articles, that the first Fales Store was started in the year 1829 at the Gut, by Elisha Fales; Augustus S. Fales' father. As many of you know we have pictures of six generations of the store owners lined up on a shelf in the store. Elisha's picture is there among them. So as to include him in the Men of Fales store we are officially claiming the start date of Fales Store as 1829, and are hoping to celebrate 180 years next year!  This web site is an exciting new step for us and is allowing us to share the history of this store with all our dear friends.
